Then we gathered in a circle; stood round the rainbow fire

Ohhh Cocorosie...

They are faeries. Such a rich inspiration to me They are so fearless in their art and their lives.
This song in particular is like a crystal--so clear and light and cleansing.

Good energy swirling around today!
Slept in so so so late. bedroom floor campout sleepover.
kitties. sun. crazy love.

Hope everyone else felt it too.

Someday soon (i.e. when this semester ends in a couple of weeks)I will actually have time to write longer posts! For now, I leave you with Cocorosie and hope that will suffice. I'm thinking it probibly will, they're pretty awesome!

oh! also: my roomate and I got a huge lavender plant from our lovely friend Bela's mom (from her magical garden)!! It smells like a dreeeaaammm. spring has sprung!
Take a spring fashion clue from my dear stylin grandma in the fanciest of hats. Isn't she a dream? I miss her! Today I wrote an essay for my women's studies class about self-esteem in young women in the United States, anorexia, and the advertising industry. I realized that this dear lady's loving words to me as a child have helped me to grow into a confident woman. She always told me I was beautiful. Everyone needs to/ deserves to hear that.

Bright Star

Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.
