Its a gloriously sunny today in Detroit. Everything is still icy so the branches and roofs are glistening to an almost blinding effect-wonderful! I need to take a walk today and try to take it all in. The kitties are enjoying it too. There are 4 out of the 5 of them sitting in the shafts of light in front of my window right now. Licking themselves and wrestling.
Yesterday I went over to my dad's house for a visit and haulled a significant amount of the art I have done in the past year for him to photograph and archive for me (he is a professional photographer). This posting will be devoted to the things he photographed yesterday. As always, I ask that if any viewers want to use any of these images, please leave me a comment or send me an e-mail asking for permission first.
This is the cover to a big wooden book my dad helped me make. The book houses a manuscript I had to make for an Imaginative Writing course I took last winter. It contains short stories, poetry, and short dramas and was alot of work but also alot of fun to make. I tried uploading some pictures of the inside of the book, but the images inexplicably rotated themselves? Still getting the hang of this blog thing...
